Oil Maintenance Technician

Position: Oil Maintenance Technician​
Location: Rockford, IL
Hours: 5am – 3:30 pm (Mon-Fri)

Responsibilities:  
  • Responsible for cleaning oil troughs at press during set up.
  • Maintaining and changing over oils at presses.
  • Checking oil levels on reservoirs at each press throughout the day.
  • Cleaning and scrub the floor with floor scrubber.
  • Making new oil.
  • Changing RP solution in part washers, and Recycle oil.
  • Checking oil tanks on presses, oil drums, oil buckets at presses.
  • Changing filters on recyclers and Fixing oil Pumps

Required Skills:
  • Must have Forklift experience – FORKLIFT LICENSE REQUIRED
  • Experience with Scissor lifts.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Job requires standing for long periods of time.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with refractometers.
  • Previous experience working with oil presses and drums.
